Our Tutors

Alina likes to tutor people while riding horses in crowded movie theaters and routinely breaks into dance routines from Oklahoma.

Alina loves literature, philosophy, religion, and science. She loves reading and writing, although English was not her first language. Born and raised in Romania, Alina moved to the United States at the age of 14. She loves the culture and the people of the U.S. and hopes to spend the rest of her life here. She is passionate about 19th Century literature, and her lifelong wish is to have afternoon tea with Jane Austen.

Stephen is always trying to get the other tutors to participate in his "Lion Tamer" magic trick.

Stephen is into writing, cycling, and can make a killer cafe mocha.  He loves sitting and discussing books and ideas, and his ideal afternoon would be spent reading philosophy while bicycling through coffee fields.  He moonlights as a lion trainer for the local circus.
